Anticipation

As many of you know, I'm about a month away from the beginning of my experience in Germany.

The next month will be filled with preparations and tying up loose-ends stateside - taking the GRE exam so that I can think about grad school, finishing my summer job, and slowly starting up with the ever-arduous packing process! (One year's worth of stuff in two suitcases? I'm bad enough packing for a weekend trip...) Oh well, time to get back into that mindset I suppose.

I just thought I should post something to make sure that it wasn't assumed that I had completely forgotten about the blog. Admittedly I ran short of time at the end of my junior year abroad and ended up skipping my posts on several topics - my trip to Amsterdam, Easter in Innsbruck, my university course taken with mostly German students, and I also regretfully skipped talking about my hostfamily altogether! Hopefully my free time in Germany will allow me to fill in some of these holes, and then to fill you in on my life there!

Keep an eye out for more posts around halfway through September - by then I should have settled in a bit in Duelmen!
